Wedding flowers are truly timeless. It seems likes styles haven’t changed much in the last 20 years. Most of the bouquets are hand-tied styles with partially wrapped stems. Colors and flowers are seasonal, and every floral designer sets their creative talents within the bouquets they make. Brides may show their florist a photo and say they want something just like the picture, but flower blooms look different year to year, season to season. I always tell my couples I will try to make something similar to the picture they show me, and they are always happy with the results.
Other bouquet styles are cascade (which is making a comeback), round and contemporary which is an unstructured bouquet and are popular these last few years.
What’s my favorite? I love them all. All styles, all colors, all shapes and sizes.
